This Wednesday, there is a homelessness service project that is desperately in need of your help.� The annual point-in-time homeless count is Wednesday, from 6 pm to 11 pm. Each year, New Haven advocates do a count of the homeless in new haven, by sending groups of 3-4 advocates to different parts of New Haven, and actually counting the # of homeless. THIS NUMBER IS USED TO DETERMINE FUNDING FOR NEW HAVEN'S HOMELESSNESS NETWORK.� And this year, the count is EXTREMELY SHORT ON VOLUNTEERS.� So any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

If you have limited time on Wednesday night, you can arrive at the count as late as 7 pm, and the count will be over for most groups by between 9:30 and 10:00.
