GTAs mission is to help young people involved in the justice system, child welfare system or street economy envision alternatives for themselves through reward-based programs that teach money management and business decision making skills. The core of GTA is a unique financial literacy curriculum that applies the basic concepts of economics and decision analysis to the context of young peoples individual life decisions about money, relationships and education. MBA curricula are designed to teach students to become successful by making decisions that maximize value. Young people in the juvenile justice system, for instance, make life or death decisions without any frameworks like those taught to MBA students. Game Theory Academy is a safe space for young people to reflect on their decisions by tapping into their inherent knowledge of their environment and enhancing it with decision-making tools. Participants sketch and analyze their own tradeoffs and over time envision alternatives and make better choices. Additional Info/Contact: Malik Rashid ( This email address is hidden from email harvesters via JavaScript ) |
