The College Council for CARE presents A Powerful Noise, a documentary on women's empowerment in the developing world. The documentary follows three women: Hanh, who started a self-help group for women living with HIV/AIDS in Vietnam Nada, a refugee who works to alleviate ethnic tension through an agricultural co-op and Jaqueline, who fights forced labor practices in the slums of Mali through basic education. � World Fellow Zafar Sobhan, an influential journalist who works with several training and development organizations, will be giving an introduction and free Thai food will be served!
