You are invited to Policy on the Rocks OPEN WIDE AND SAY AHHHHH!!!! A party and conversation about Health Care Policy. Would a national health care program be the miracle pill this country needs, a poison pill, or just a placebo? Join us for a party and conversation withJonathan Cohn,a senior editor atThe New Republicand author ofSick: The Untold Story of Americas Health Care Crisis and the People Who Pay the Price. If lucky, we'll be celebrating a new national health policy. But more likely, Cohn will give us the scoop on the players, the problems, and possibilities for reaching a solution. Doors open at 7pm, discussion starts at 8pm, and we'll be self-medicating all night long -- including Rusty Nail and Tetanus Shot drink specials, playing doctor, quizzes, trivia, and great conversation! Only a $10 co-pay at the door. We look forward to seeing you there! Hosted by: Alvin Crawford, Ann Davlin, Eric Engler, Debra Everett-Lane, Laura Gunther, Victoria Harman, Tamara Holt, Julia Kamin, Charlene Kuo, Jen Lane, Risa Levine, Molly Martin, John Neffinger, Danielle Noto, Eloise Paul, Nicole Poindexter, Atif Qadir, Lucy Riederer, Ivy Shyu, Juny Sridhara. Policy on the Rocks is an event series of citizenJoe,a multi-partisan nonprofit that promotes awareness and open dialogue on national policy issues. What's our formula for Policy on the Rocks? Grab a hip venue, toss in a crowd of young urbanites (conservatives, liberals and 'tweeners), add in experts and a splash of friendly policy talk and shake! Additional Info/Contact: Debra Everett Lane BK '91, This email address is hidden from email harvesters via JavaScript |
