Do you enjoy working with kids? Are you interested in teaching? Are �you looking for classroom experience and a rewarding, enriching way to �spend your summer? Apply to teach with the U.S. Grant Foundation! U.S. �Grant is an academic enrichment program for middle school students �from New Haven public schools. Yale undergraduates who are accepted as �teachers design and teach a six-week course for middle school �students, as well as collaborate with other teachers to create �elective courses. Teachers are paid $3,300 over the course of the �summer, including a week of paid teacher training. The program runs �from July 21 to August 5. There will be an information session, �featuring a short presentation and a talk with former US Grant �teachers, on Tuesday, January 26 at 7 pm in the Dwight Hall Library. �Applications can be found at www.yale.edu/usgrant and are due on �January 31, 2010.
