Brandt Goldstein, YLS '92, will discuss his new book, Storming the Court: How a Band of Yale Law Students Sued the President--and Won (Scribner 2005), on Sept. 27 at the Barnes & Noble at 82d & Broadway. Storming the Court is the true story of a group of Yale law students and their professor, Harold Koh, who took two U.S. administrations to court to free innocent political refugees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in the early 1990s. Warner Bros. is developing a film based on the book. Additional Info/Contact: |
