Dream of building deep connections while making positive change in developing communities?
JoinGive Us Wings, an international nonprofit organization as we travel toNyaoga, Kenyathis summer!
A group of Yale students will live with families and health clinic staff in this rural village, while partnering with a local Womens Group to implement development projects.Together, we will build a school for women forced to leave primary schooling, as well as collaborate on projects already in progress, including cooperative sustainable agriculture training, safe water irrigation, and a locally-run health clinic.
Give Us Wings mission is to work in partnership with Kenyan and Ugandan communities to facilitate long-term transformation and self-sufficiency.This summer, we are working with the Victoria Young Womens Group, a group of women ages 16-24 who are taking the lead in lifting their community out of poverty.
Qualifications: eagerness to learn just as much as you teach.
We are still looking for more participants in this project this summer. Please contact
