Camp Carefree is a free summer camp in North Carolina that gives kids with chronic illnesses a chance to have the outdoorsy summer camp experience, including horseback riding, archery, fishing, swimming, etc.� The camp is operated on a not-for-profit basis, employs an all-volunteer staff, and is set on hundreds of acres of donated farmland outside of Greensboro.� There are week-long camp sessions for kids with Spina Bifida, Cancer, Epilepsy and other Neurological disorders, Hemophilia & Turner Syndrome, Siblings of chronically ill children, and children of chronically ill parents.� Applying for this summer may still be possible, depending on your week of interest, and is definitely possible for next summer.� Please contact Adam Green ( This email address is hidden from email harvesters via JavaScript ) for information and applications.
