ATTENTION: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR OCTOBER 09' TEEN PARENTING GROUP!!!!

The Nurturing Families Network at Fair Haven Community Health Center is recruiting Volunteers to work with teen parents and their children!

�

Volunteers will care for:

Infants and young children (ages birth to five). The Nurturing Families Parenting Group program provides weekly planned activities that teach parenting skills and provide a safe environment for children to socialize and learn at the same time. Ideally, candidates would be proficient in Spanish.

Elegibilitly:

-Must be 16 years of age

-Must not have a criminal record or be a registered sex offender

-Must pass a health PPD test

Skills:

-Personal or professional experience with children

-Ability to work as a team player, both with children and parents

-Eagerness to work with children

�

This is an excellent and rewarding opportunity to volunteer your time and recommendations can be made for you by our group coordinator.
