Highlights this month include a talk on February 23 by poet and Pulitzer Prize nominee Elizabeth Alexander (BA '84), who was invited by President Obama to compose and read a poem at his inauguration.� Also, we're partnering with The Ivy Plus Society to bring you a multi-school party at the exciting Marquee venue on February 24!

Looking ahead to March, we'd like to call your attention to a special preview of Before the Night Falls, a new opera by Jorge Martin '81.� Drawing on the memoirs of a gay dissident Cuban author who died of AIDS in New York in 1990, the work premiers at the Fort Worth Opera later this year.� The preview and reception with the composer on March 9 is co-sponsored by several Yale groups: Association of Yale Alumni (AYA), YAAMNY, Yale GALA and Yale Latino Alumni Association.
