We are actively recruiting leaders to createWalkteams to help us spread the word about this opportunity to fight hunger and help our neighbors in need. These captains will recruit other team members to collect donations and bring awareness to hunger issues in the local community. Effective captains will be vocal, organized, and passionate about helping others. Every way we look at it, this past year has been difficult. Underemployment and unemployment remain high. Families wrestle with mountains of debt. Many lost their homes. Children went to bed, and to school, hungry. Community support and participation is not only vital to our mission but is the driving force behind our capability as an organization. Recruiting motivated, passionate organizers willtrulymake a difference in whether Connecticut residents receive much needed assistance!

Registration is fast, easy, and available now! Visitwww.ctfoodbank.org/walkagainsthungerto register today. Participants can set up individual or team fundraising pages, customize pages by adding photos and personal messages, and also e-mail friends, family, and supporters to sponsor the team. Donations can be made electronically! The website also offers directions to the parks as well as team building resources.
