This article contains notes on the standardization of article titles, word choice and grammar and technical terminology.

Wiki is case-sensitive and thus care must be taken in naming articles. Articles should be named as if they were titles, with every word capitalized except articles, conjugations, and prepositions (e.g. the, a, an, and, of, etc...). If in doubt, please ask a Wiki Moderator before posting the article.

You can place an article into a category by typing:
[[Category:(category name)]]
at the top of the article.
Example:[[Category:WebApp]]
Before creating a new category, please check the list of existing categories at Special:Categories.
The terms in bold on the left should be used in favor of the unbolded right text.
Please use the appropriate templates for articles.
If a topic is old or obsolete, add {{Obs}} at the top of the page to use the Obsolete Template.
If an article does not relate to duties and job of Student Techs, please add {{plus}} to the top of the article.
Please type {{amgr}} in place of {{amgr}}'s name and {{mgr}} in place of {{mgr}}'s name in articles. {{amgr}} and {{mgr}} act as variables (they are actually templates, if you care to know) so that in the event that either of our fearless leaders leaves us, changing the content of the corresponding template will result in all instances of either {{amgr}}'s or {{mgr}}'s name changing as well (instead of someone having to go through and do a find and replace).
If there is another term or name that you would like to use in an article that might change in the short term, please create a template and add it here as well.
