The New York City Science and Engineering Fair for NYC High School students is, for the first year, sponsored by the City University of New York under the auspices of the CUNY College Now Program (which I work for).
The Science Fair is looking for judges in fourteen areas, including social and behavioral sciences. Judges can be practicing scientists, doctoral students or other professionals in their fields in the New York City area (unfortunately the program cannot provide accommodations or funding for people coming from outside the area).
It's an excellent volunteer opportunity and a chance to meet talented students from throughout New York City and become involved in fostering and promoting science education.
