If you answered Yes to any of these questions, then you may be in a position to positively impact the life of current Latino Yale undergraduates.
The Yale Latino Alumni Association of the Tri State Area (YLA) is in the process of organizing a summer internship program that will give current Yale undergraduates a chance to get hands-on experience in a variety of fields.� The chart below illustrates students' current interest by sector:
������ Did you know? � �Most (80%) Latino undergrads are currently looking for a summer internship! And 66% of Latinos would consider an unpaid position. Most (90%) Latino undergrads are looking for a summer position varying from 4 to 10 weeks.� Most (75%) Latinos are considering positions in the Tri-State area. |

The results of the survey will be used to build an internship database that will serve as an additional resource to Latino undergraduate students as they search for summer employment.� YLA members also plan to deliver workshops on campus designed to help undergraduates develop better interviewing skills, write better resumes, and learn the skills required to build a lifelong professional network.
