Often, the first couple of months of a new year prove to be a time of reflection and plan making. Many among us have likely made - and may already be re-evaluating - some resolutions for the months ahead.

I invite you to keep Yale and the Association of Yale Alumni (AYA) in your thoughts in 2008 and as you make your plans.

Consider taking a few moments to:

Update your contact information to ensure that you receive your copy of the ELIne newsletter from the Office of Public Affairs and other AYA/University communications.

Use the Online Alumni Directory to search for former Yale classmates and renew old Yale friendships.

Create/update your Yale Career Network profile and find peers to discuss professional challenges, investigate new career paths, or serve as a resource for current Yale students or other alumni.

Participate in Lifelong Learning:

• Retrieve your AYA Login Credentials
• Open Yale courses: Free access to Yale undergraduate courses at your finger tips! Open Yale courses provide online access to a collection of  seven complete undergraduate courses. Watch high-quality video lectures and review syllabi, suggested reading lists, and problem sets.
• Yale Netcasts/Podcasts: Take them with you -- interviews, speeches, and discussions given by Yale faculty, administrators, and welcomed guests. Download and listen to our library of more than 250 Netcasts in MP3 via common RSS aggregators at Yale's Netcast home or through iTunesU
• Yale Educational Travel programs: Yale Educational Travel offers an array of programs to destinations around the world. The educational connection offered through Yale faculty lectures on our trips remains at the heart of the AYA travel programs.
